Robotank – Control with mobile app and autonomous functions

An extended activity that lasted many sessions at the Robotics Club 2016-2017. The design is from Mindstorms Podcast with some minor modifications for adding a distance and a color sensor. You can download them form here: double track with sonar and color sensor

The robot can function in two different ways. It can autonomously move in a maze, following a colored line and avoiding wall obstacles. You can download the NXT Program from here: maze2

The second way of controlling the robot is by an android app that we created in app inventor. The app controls the two motors of the robot and can also read the distance and the color values from the two sensors. You can download the source code of the app here: TankRobot
